In Rachel's Memory Necklace

On Saturday, March 13, 2010, there will be a live and silent auction at the Greene Community Center in Guilford starting at 6:30pm. The auction is to honor Rachel Garcia, a lovely 12-year old girl who passed away right before Thanksgiving 2009.
220 items have been donated for the auction! Everything ranging from vacation property, to room painting, to gourmet meals. In Rachel's memory, I created two Viking Knit pieces to donate to the auction.

The purple necklace is double Viking Knit, with silver chain and lobster clasp. The flower is peyote stitched with picot variation made of seed beads and Swarovski crystals.
